更新：70歲姓寥傷者今日中午12時不治死亡。
昨晚11時53分，長沙灣道近昌華街發生交通意外。一名男子於上址疑未有依照交通指示橫過馬路，被一輛沿長沙灣道往旺角方向行駛的士撞倒，男子撞向的士車頭玻璃後被撞飛，當場昏迷倒地並留下大量血跡及傷者隨身物品。
救護員隨即到場搶救，傷者被送往明愛醫院，送院時昏迷。現場的士車頭玻璃破裂，司機被帶上警車進行調查。警方經被步調查後，以「涉嫌危險駕駛引致他人身體受嚴重傷害」拘捕79歲姓陳男司機，現正被扣留調查。
At 11:53 pm last night, a traffic accident occurred on Cheung Sha Wan Road near Cheung Wah Street. A man was suspected of not following traffic instructions and crossing the road when he was hit by a taxi travelling towards Mong Kok along Cheung Sha Wan Road. The man hit the windshield of the taxi, causing him to fall unconscious on the ground and leaving a large amount of blood and personal belongings scattered around.
Paramedics arrived at the scene immediately to attend to the injured man, who was then rushed to Caritas Medical Centre while still unconscious. The windshield of the taxi was shattered, and the driver was taken away for investigation in a police car. After the investigation, the police arrested a 79-year-old male driver on suspicion of "dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to others" and he is currently detained for further investigation.
