塞爾維亞首都貝爾格勒今天早上發生學校槍擊案，一名14歲少年闖入一間小學開槍，造成至少8名兒童和1名保安死亡，6人受傷。據悉該名少年是該校一名七年級的學生。當地警方表示，該名14歲少年先在教室內開槍打傷教師，接著朝向其他學生和保安人員開槍。目前至少有1名受傷學生危殆，正在接受手術，一名教師也受了重傷。當局已經逮捕了槍手。
據了解，巴爾幹半島地區，在上世紀90年代經歷了一系列衝突，導致暴力事件和武器擴散問題普遍存在。在克羅地亞、波斯尼亞和科索沃戰爭期間，許多武器被走私到塞爾維亞和其他鄰國，導致該地區非法槍械大量存在。儘管塞爾維亞有嚴格的槍械法律，但非法槍械仍然對該地區的公共安全構成威脅。
A school shooting occurred this morning in the Serbian capital of Belgrade, when a 14-year-old boy entered an elementary school and opened fire. At least 8 children and 1 security guard were killed, while 6 others were injured. The shooter was reportedly a seventh-grade student at the school. According to local police, the 14-year-old first shot and wounded a teacher in a classroom, before turning the gun towards other students and security personnel. At least one injured student is in critical condition and undergoing surgery, and a teacher was also seriously injured. The authorities have already arrested the shooter.
It is understood that the Balkan Peninsula region went through a series of conflicts in the 1990s, which led to widespread violence and weapons proliferation. During the wars in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo, many weapons were smuggled into Serbia and other neighboring countries, leading to a large presence of illegal firearms in the region. Despite strict gun laws in Serbia, illegal firearms still pose a threat to public safety in the area.
