下午3時04分，將軍澳運隆路體育館發生工業意外。一名工人於進行維修期間懷疑失足，掉落一個兩米深洞坑，工人左小腿被鐵支物體插中，一度被困。
消防到場，將鐵支鋸斷，並將被困工人救出，傷者清醒，由救護員送往伊利沙伯醫院治理。警方正於現場調查事故起因。
At 3:04pm, an industrial accident occurred at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre. During maintenance work, a worker suspected to have lost his footing and fell into a two-meter-deep pit. The worker's left calf was impaled by a metal object and was trapped.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to saw off the metal object and rescue the trapped worker. The injured worker was conscious and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment by ambulance personnel. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident at the scene.
