政府今日公佈三隧分流收費調整方案，將會分兩階段實施，第一階「633」收費段將於8月2日實行，而第二階段則會不遲於年底實施。
第一階段收費調整，將會調整三條隧道收費。私家車使用西隧將會由75元降至60元；紅隧由20元提升至30元，東隧則由25元同樣提升至30元；的士使用三條隧道全部劃一收費25元。運輸署相信收費差距可舒緩紅隧及東隧交通壓力。
而第二階段將預計於年底前實施，分為三個時段收費。非繁忙時段晚上7時至早上7時半，私家車劃一收費20元；一般時段上午10時至4時半劃一收費30元；而繁忙時段則上午7時半至10時15分及下午4時半至7時，私家車西隧收費60元，紅隧及東隧40元。另外星期日公眾假期分「一般時段」10時15分至7時15分，私家車劃一收費25元；其餘時間為非繁忙時段，劃一收費20元。
The government announced today a plan to adjust tolls for the three tunnels, which will be implemented in two stages. The first stage of toll adjustments called the "633" toll scheme, will take effect on August 2, while the second phase will be implemented no later than the end of the year.
In the first stage, tolls will be adjusted for three tunnels. The toll for private cars using the Western Harbour Tunnel will be reduced from $75 to $60; the toll for the Cross-Harbour Tunnel will increase from $20 to $30, while the toll for the Eastern Harbour Tunnel will also increase from $25 to $30. Taxis using all three tunnels will have a uniform toll of $25. The Transport Department believes that the toll difference can ease traffic pressure on the Cross-Harbour and Eastern Harbour Tunnels.
The second stage, which is expected to be implemented before the end of the year, will be divided into three toll periods. During non-peak hours from 7 pm to 7:30 am, a uniform toll of $20 will be charged for private cars; during regular hours from 10 am to 4:30 pm, a uniform toll of $30 will be charged. During the peak hours from 7:30 am to 10:15 am and from 4:30 pm to 7 pm, the toll for private cars using the Western Harbour Tunnel will be $60, while the toll for the Cross-Harbour and Eastern Hatbour Tunnels will be $40. Additionally, on Sundays and public holidays, the "regular hours" toll period will be from 10:15 am to 7:15 pm, and a uniform toll of $25 will be charged for private cars. During other times, a uniform toll of $20 will be charged for non-peak hours.
