今日凌晨1時28分，警方巡經葵涌143號和宜合道，期間上前調查一輛停泊在雙黃線的私家車輛，要求司機出示身份証，私家車司機出示身份証後被警員發現欠交告票被通緝，疑因畏罪感到不悅，向警員「發脾氣」，將手上一個進食中的飯盒扔向該名警員然後駛走，期間並沒有取回身份証件，豈料駛走時撞向前方停泊中的警車，並撞傷一名站在警車旁的警員，私家車則沒有停下繼而離去，警員腳部擦損送院治理。
事後警方執抬飯盒作証物並檢查被撞的警車，車尾受損毀，現正追緝該名私家車司機。葵青區刑事第六隊接手跟進事件。
At 1:28 am this morning, while patrolling along Kwai Chung's Yee Wo Street and 143, the police approached a parked car on the double yellow lines to check the driver's identification. Upon providing his identification, it was discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant for an unpaid ticket. Feeling apprehensive, the driver expressed his displeasure and threw a food container at the policeman before driving away without retrieving his identification. In an unexpected turn of events, the driver collided with a police vehicle parked in front and injured an officer who was standing near the car.
The private car did not stop but fled the scene. The police recovered the food container as evidence and inspected the damaged police vehicle. The case is now being pursued by the Kowloon West Criminal Investigation unit for further investigation.
