土瓜灣再現內地旅行團逼爆情況，因旅客用膳後於行人路上聚集等候車輛等問題，導致區內交通及人流擠塞。日前旅遊業監管局與業界商討後，由今日起實施三項措施，包括餐廳需要與內地旅行團實施預約制、旅客於餐廳用膳時間下限需逗留30分鐘、以及食肆需要派員協助人流管理。
本台記者今日於土瓜灣道以及崇安街食肆視察，大概中午用膳時間，警方派駐人手於現場協助，旅遊業監管局及食肆亦有安排人手控制人流，情況略有改善，但於街道上仍有不少旅客聚集等候，有工作人員安排人群於行人路兩邊等候，以免再度出現阻塞情況。而旅遊業監管局代表一度到達崇安街位置視察，但未有回應記者提問並急步離開。
Hong Kong’s tourism minister has pledged to work with the industry to tackle “poor quality” travel groups by implementing stricter controls. Our reporter visited restaurants on To Kwa Wan Road and Shung On Street today and observed that around noon, the police had deployed personnel to assist on-site, and the restaurants had also arranged staff to control the crowd. The situation improved slightly, but there were still many tourists gathering and waiting on the road, with the staff arranging groups to wait on both sides of the footpath to avoid congestion.
