葵涌大連排道發生爆竊兼偷貓案。葵涌大連排道21至33號宏達工業中心凌晨4時23分,一間派對娛樂室「治癒貓屋」的31歲姓冼負責人,發現單位有被人潛入爆竊痕跡,於是報警求助。警方到場調查,發現店內遺失共7隻總共價值約7萬元的貓隻,部分年僅3個月至2歲大,其中5隻為雄性、2隻為雌性。
被爆竊的治癒貓屋在上址9樓經營派對活動,面積逾千呎,而店內失去的7隻寵物貓隻。店主稱剛剛旅遊回港,本以為店舖未有被7隻寵物搗亂,豈料貓隻全部被盜。據稱7隻貓貓為店舖的「鎮店之寶」。警方翻看閉路電視後,發現一名懷疑涉案20至30歲女子,負責人經點算後除失去7隻貓隻外,有約300元寵物袋亦被盜去,警方現正追緝懷疑涉案人士。
A burglary and cat theft case occurred on Tai Lin Pai Road in Kwai Chung. At 4:23 AM this morning, the 31-year-old owner of 治癒貓屋 Healing Meowfee, a party entertainment room located at Unit 21-33 of Vanta Industrial Centre, discovered signs of a break-in and reported it to the police. Upon investigation, the police found that a total of seven cats with a combined value of approximately HKD 70,000 were missing from the premises, with some cats as young as three months old and others up to two years old. Of the seven cats, five were male and two were female.
治癒貓屋 Healing Meowfee, which occupies over 1,000 square feet on the 9th floor of the building, is a popular venue for parties. The owner, who had just returned from a trip, initially thought that nothing had been disturbed in the shop, only to find out that all seven of the beloved cats had been stolen. The cats were said to be the "jewels in the crown" of the shop.
After reviewing the CCTV footage, the police identified a woman in her 20s to 30s as a suspect in the case. In addition to the seven missing cats, the owner also reported the theft of a pet carrier worth around HKD 300. The police are currently investigating the case and trying to trace the whereabouts of the stolen cats and the suspect involved.
