昨晚23時44分，消防接報，一輛白色豐田私家車與一輛灰色本田私家車行駛至新娘潭路近涌尾迎頭相撞，事發時豐田私家車懷疑越線，撞向本田私家車，豐田私家車撞至橫亘於行車線上並隨即陷入火海，消防到場後出動一條喉及一隊煙帽隊灌救，豐田司機及時逃生，受傷送院，本田私家車車上3名乘客均告受傷，送威爾斯親王醫院及瑪嘉烈醫院，其中一名女乘客一度被困，經消防搶救近1小時救出，清醒送往伊利沙伯醫院救治。意外中豐田私家車被嚴重燒毀，兩部車由拖車拖離現場，意外成因有待調查。
Yesterday evening at 11:44 pm, a white Toyota private car and a grey Honda private car collided head-on at Bride's Pool Road. The Toyota private car was suspected of crossing the line and colliding with the Honda private car, which then became engulfed in flames. The driver of the Toyota escaped in time and was sent to the hospital, while the three passengers in the Honda private car were all injured. One of the female passengers was trapped for nearly an hour before being rescued and sent to the hospital for treatment. The Toyota private car was severely burned in the accident and both cars were towed away from the scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
