今日晚上10時15分左右，旺角山東街與甘霖街交界發生持武器襲擊事件，一名男子與其胞兄行經上址，突然被被4至5名持棍及持硬物男子圍毆，男子頭部受襲，頭破血流，事後施襲男子帶同兇器逃去，事主報警求助。救護員趕至替傷者包紮，送往廣華醫院治理，胞兄亦報稱受傷，經救護員治理後無需送院。警方正追輯在逃人士並展開調查。
Around 10:15 pm today, a violent attack involving weapons occurred at the intersection of Shantung Street and Kam Lam Street in Mong Kok. According to reports, a man and his brother were passing through the area when suddenly they were surrounded and assaulted by 4 to 5 men armed with sticks and hard objects. The victim's head was severely injured and bleeding. After the attack, the assailants fled the scene with their weapons, while the victim's brother also reported sustaining injuries but was treated by paramedics and did not require hospitalization.
The victim was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment, while the police were notified and are currently pursuing the suspects and conducting an investigation.
