晚上7時20分，警方接報長沙灣海達邨海盛樓有人持刀打鬥，警方帶同盾牌趕至現場處理，發現未有人持刀。調查後警方證實一名居住於海盛樓男子，與兩名男子疑因金錢糾紛發生爭執，期間男住戶被該兩名男子襲擊。警方當場拘捕兩名施襲男子，據稱3人為朋友關係，而遇襲男子則由救護車送院檢查。
Police were alerted to a reported knife fight at Hoi Shing House in Hoi Tat Estate, Cheung Sha Wan at 7:20 PM yesterday. Responding officers arrived at the scene, armed with shields, but no one was found to be holding a knife. Upon investigation, it was determined that a male resident of Hoi Shing House had become embroiled in a quarrel over money with two other men, which escalated into a physical altercation. During the incident, the resident was attacked by the two suspects.
The police arrested the two attackers on the spot. The three individuals involved were reportedly friends. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance for examination after the incident.
