警方因應去年接獲科技罪案數字增加，網絡安全及科技調查科進行深入調查及分析，於本年3月3日至今進行大規模打擊網上購物騙案行動，突擊搜查全港多個地點。
整個行動中，警方拘捕41名本地男子及24名本地女子，年齡介乎14至68歲，並搜獲一批手提電話、電腦主機、電子記事簿、支票、銀行提款卡及電話卡等證物。被捕人士涉及579宗網上購物騙案，涉及金額合共約760萬，分別被控涉嫌「以欺詐手段取得財產」及「處理已知道或相信為代表從可公訴罪行的得益的財產（俗稱洗黑錢）」罪。
Police increase investigations into online shopping scams in response to increasing number of technology-related crimes last year.
On March 3rd, police launched a large-scale operation to crack down on online shopping scams. The operation targeted 41 local men and 24 local women, aged 14 to 68, and seized a number of phones, computers, diaries, checks, bank cards, and phone cards.
The suspects are accused of committing 579 counts of online shopping scams, involving a total of about $7.6 million. They are charged with two counts of fraud: obtaining property by deception and handling proceeds of crime.
