今日下午約3時，警方接報一輛電單車在汝州街173號對開行駛期間，撞到一名74歲老翁後不顧而去，老翁頭、嘴及四肢擦傷，倒地後滿面披血，有途人上前協助及報警，救援人員到場將他送明愛醫院治理。現場消息指老翁疑因過路時被慢線停泊的一輛Tesla私家車阻擋視線，遭經過中線的電單車撞倒。警方將案列作交通意外後不顧而去，正追尋電單車及司機下落。
A hit-and-run accident occurred this afternoon on Yu Chau Street in which a 74-year-old man was hit by a motorcycle and left injured on the ground. The incident took place near 173 Yu Chau Street, and witnesses reported that the motorcycle driver fled the scene after the collision. The victim suffered injuries to his head, mouth, and limbs and was bleeding when found by passersby who called for help. Emergency services arrived promptly and took the injured man to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment.
According to reports from the scene, the accident may have been caused by a parked Tesla private car on the slow lane that obstructed the view of the victim. The motorcycle collided with the man while passing through the centre line. The police have classified the incident as a traffic accident and are actively searching for the motorcycle and driver who fled the scene.
