一名年約40多歲的香港居民，倒斃於澳門路氹城一酒店的客房內。澳門執法部門表示，昨晚10時45分接獲酒店員工報案，指上述房客未有辦理退房手續，遂與保安上房間查看，發現房門鎖上防盜鎖，房內傳出臭味。保安遂以工具打開房門，赫見一名男子躺在床上並已死亡。
澳門執法部門現場檢查後，未有發現涉及刑事造成的傷痕，相信死者已死去一段時間，在死者的背包內有多種醫院處方的藥物，初步將案件列作屍體發現案，死因有待確定。
A Hong Kong resident in their forties was discovered dead inside a hotel room in Cotai, Macau. The Macau law enforcement department received a report from hotel staff at 10:45 pm last night that the guest had not checked out. Security personnel were dispatched to investigate and discovered that the room's door was locked with an anti-theft lock and emitting a foul odour. They used tools to open the door and found a man lying dead on the bed.
After an on-site investigation, no signs of criminal injuries were found. It is believed that the victim had been dead for some time. Various prescription drugs were found in the victim's backpack. The case is being treated as a corpse-discovery case, and the cause of death is yet to be determined.
