澳洲衛生部長巴特勒今日於澳洲聯邦衛生部公佈，於週六（11日）將取消早前對來自中國遊客（包括香港及澳門）的出發前檢測要求，旅客前往澳洲毋須再於出發前進行核酸檢測。巴特勒指，由於有證據顯示中國疫情已經進一步放緩，澳洲決定採取與國際一致的防疫政策，以為旅客造成便利。
Australia's health minister, Mark Butler, announced today at the Australian Federal Ministry of Health that the pre-departure testing requirement for Chinese tourists (including those from Hong Kong and Macau) will be cancelled on Saturday (11th). Travellers to Australia will no longer need to undergo nucleic acid testing before departure. Butler pointed out that evidence shows that the epidemic in China has further eased, and Australia has decided to adopt consistent international epidemic prevention policies to facilitate travellers.
