晚上9時57分，警方接獲一名男子報案，指其女朋友企圖燒炭。警員及消防趕至旺角山東街榮華大樓一賓館單位，救出一名年約20多歲女子，由救護車送往廣華醫院檢驗，情況並無大礙。警員其後到場調查詳細事故起因。
Police and firefighters successfully rescued a 20-year-old woman who attempted suicide by burning charcoal at Wing Wah Building in Mong Kok tonight.
The police received a report from the woman's boyfriend at 9:57 pm, alerting them that she was attempting to kill herself. Officers immediately dispatched to the hotel, where they discovered the woman in her hotel room with charcoal briquettes and lighters.
They evacuated the room and administered first aid to the woman before sending her to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical assessment. According to hospital authorities, the woman is in stable condition and out of danger.
Police are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the woman's attempted suicide. The woman and her boyfriend's relationship is still under review. While the case remains open, police urge anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
