今日上午10時43分，葵涌永孝街一棟工廠大廈有石屎剝落，其時兩名路經永孝街，剛剛往華人永遠墳場拜祭，離開時被墮下石屎碎片所傷。
石屎由工廠大廈大約10樓墮下，造成大量灰塵以及碎片，被碎片擊中的兩名途人被送往瑪嘉烈醫院治理，意外後警方安排前往墳場人士改道，以免再有危險。警方其後封鎖現場，調查事故起因。
Concrete Blocks Fall at a factory in Kwai Chung, Injuring Two Pedestrians
Two pedestrians were injured today after concrete fragments fell from a factory building in Kwai Chung. At 10:43 am, stones and debris came loose from the facade of a building on Wing Hau Street and plummeted about 10 stories, causing injuries to the pedestrians below.
The victims, two person who were on their way to pay respects at the Chinese Perpetual Burial Ground when the accident occurred. They were struck by falling concrete pieces and rubble. The Kwai Chung police and emergency responders rushed the injured men to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
After the incident, the police shut down Wing Hau Street and barricaded the factory building, launching an investigation into the cause of the collapse. As a precaution, the police temporarily halted traffic and diverted pedestrians away from the burial ground to avoid further danger. The extent of injuries to the two victims remains unclear as they receive medical care.
