西九龍柯士甸道昨晚發生懷疑搶劫案。現場為柯士甸道西1號W酒店，昨晚（6日）10時許，一名男子經中介相約買家，在W酒店大堂交收一批價值約900萬元玉石珠寶，交收期間男子取出一個裝有珠寶的公事包，突然遭買家搶走，再登上一輛私家車往尖沙嘴方向逃去後失蹤。現場消息指，搶去珠寶箱的人疑與事主相識，警方正跟進調查。 警方經深入調查後，今日（7日）在尖沙咀區以涉嫌「盜竊」拘捕一名姓郭（53歲）女子，現正被扣留調查。
A suspected robbery occurred last night on Austin Road in West Kowloon. The incident took place at the W Hotel located at 1 Austin Road West. At around 10 pm, a man who had arranged to meet a buyer through an intermediary in the hotel lobby to exchange a batch of jade and precious stones worth about HKD 9 million had his jewellery snatched by the buyer. The man had taken out a briefcase containing the jewellery during the exchange, but the buyer suddenly grabbed it and fled in a private car towards Tsim Sha Tsui, and has since gone missing. According to reports, the perpetrator is believed to be acquainted with the victim, and the police are currently investigating the case.
After a thorough investigation, the police arrested a 53-year-old woman surnamed Kwok today (7th) in Tsim Sha Tsui on suspicion of "theft". She is currently being detained for further investigation.
