今日下午4時許，警方葵涌分區軍裝巡邏小隊巡經葵聯路80號，發現一輛形跡可疑白色私家車，遂上前截查，但私家車未有按指示停下並試圖逃走，警員於是向司機發出口頭警告並一度拔槍戒備，惟私家車繼續駛離現場，至葵聯邨葵盛信義學校對出失控撞欄，警方追截上，將車上一名男子制服，隨後在其私家車上搜出懷疑冰毒。
被捕男子報稱頭部受傷，在現場接受治理，一名警員亦手部受傷，兩人治理後均毋須送院，被捕男子其後黑布蒙頭被押走。警方將案列作藏毒、妨礙公職人員執行職務及危險駕駛，交葵青警區刑事調查隊第三隊跟進。
This afternoon at around 4 pm, the Kowloon West Regional Police Tactical Unit was patrolling along Kwai Luen Road, No. 80, when they spotted a suspicious white private car. They attempted to intercept the vehicle, but the driver did not stop as instructed and attempted to flee. The police officers warned the driver verbally and even drew their guns as a precaution, but the private car continued to drive away and eventually crashed into a barrier opposite the ELCHK Kwai Shing Lutheran Primary School in Kwai Luen Estate. The police officers then caught up to the car and arrested the driver. Upon searching the car, they found suspected methamphetamine.
The arrested man claimed to have sustained head injuries and received treatment at the scene. One police officer also sustained hand injuries, but both were treated and did not require hospitalization. The arrested man was subsequently blindfolded and taken away. The police have classified the case as drug possession, obstructing public officers in the execution of their duties, and dangerous driving.
