晚上21時17分，警方接獲一名貓主報案，稱其家貓跑到街上，並爬進元州街與興華街交界，一輛停泊於路邊的私家車底，貓隻被困，貓主嘗試將貓救出不果於是報警求助。消防到場展開拯救，愛護動物協會亦到場協助，大約二十多分鐘將貓成功救出，並無受傷，愛護動物協會將牠帶走檢查。
At 9:17 pm, the police received a report from a cat owner stating that their cat had run into the street and crawled under a parked car at the intersection of Un Chau Street and Hing Wah Street. The cat was trapped and the owner was unable to rescue it, so they called for help. The fire department arrived and, with the assistance of the animal protection association, spent about twenty minutes rescuing the cat, which was unharmed. The animal protection association took the cat away for examination.
