上月冰球港隊在波斯尼亞作賽後，發生主辦方賽後播國歌出錯事件，香港冰球協會已向港協暨奧委會(港協)提交報告，並發表聲明指日後如無未能在現場核實國歌，球員暫不進場，同時亦向香港各體育總會建議修訂指引，跟隨冰協做法以防重複犯錯。
文化體育及旅遊局局長楊潤雄表示，會了解事發原因，詳細檢視報告後與港協商討是否採取跟進行動。
Last month, during an ice hockey match in Bosnia, there was an incident where the organizers played the wrong national anthem after the game. The Hong Kong Ice Hockey Association has submitted a report to the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong (SF&OC) , and released a statement stating that in the future if the national anthem cannot be verified on-site, players will not enter the field. The association has also recommended that guidelines be revised for all sports associations in Hong Kong to follow the same procedures as the Ice Hockey Association to prevent a recurrence of this mistake.
