食環署及警方採取聯合行動，在西貢區突擊搜查大涌口村一處懷疑用作食物製造工場的搭建物, 搗破一所懷疑負責供應飯盒予安達臣道石礦場用地發展區建築地盤的無牌食物製造工場, 並在該處所檢獲約二百四十公斤食物（包括飯盒）及一批工具；檢獲的食物已被銷毀。行動中1人被捕.
根據《食物業規例》（第132X章），任何人無牌經營食物製造工場，皆屬違法，一經定罪，最高可被判罰款五萬元及監禁六個月。
The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) and the Hong Kong Police Force raided an unlicensed food factory in Sai Kung District during a joint operation this morning (April 21).
Acting on intelligence collected, the FEHD and the Police raided a structure this morning at Tai Chung Hau Village, which was suspected to be used as an unlicensed food factory. During the operation, the FEHD arrested one person and initiated procedures for prosecution for the suspected operation of a food factory without a licence, and seized for disposal about 240 kilograms of food (including lunch boxes) and some paraphernalia. The FEHD believes that it has successfully smashed an unlicensed food factory suspected of supplying lunch boxes to the construction site at the Development of Anderson Road Quarry Site.
